What is the purpose of Phil Needler Ministries?

Phil Needler Ministries strives to exalt the Word of God over spiritual traditionalism, opinion, and personal preferences.

Phil Needler Ministries commits to keeping the kindness demonstrated by Christ in ministry endeavors. Thus treating the body of Christ like the family of God - with love, respect, honor, and kindness.

Phil Needler Ministries insists on the spreading of the gospel message - Jesus Christ died for us, rose from the dead, and made it possible for us to go to Heaven someday if we choose to accept and believe on Him.

Phil Needler Ministries stands for the things which Scripture clearly tells us God stands for and stands against the things which Scripture clearly stands against. The emphasis is on the word "clearly". If God did not say clearly in His Word how He feels about a certain thing - then Phil Needler Ministries does not make that a major issue. Phil Needler Ministries does not major on the minors.

Phil Needler Ministries promotes balance in the Christian life. Although there are some sacrifices we are to make as Christians, the Christian life is still a life of enjoying all the great things our Creator gave us to enjoy (1st Timothy 6:17).

Phil Needler Ministries rejects the philosophy that outward show is what makes an individual spiritual. The man who parts his hair on the left is no more spiritual than the man who combs his hair backwards or forwards. The man who wears a $500.00 suit to church is no more spiritual than the man who wears casual pants and a casual button down shirt to church. The man who fasts regularly and lets everyone know about his sacrifice is no more spiritual than the man who rarely fasts and keeps it a secret when he does. The man who wears dress clothes on a hot summer day is no more spiritual than the man who wears shorts and a t-shirt on a hot summer day. He may be hotter, but definitely not more spiritual. Jesus harshly scolded the Pharisees who held to a similar outward show. The Pharisees may be gone, but their philosophies on the outward show are alive and well.

Phil Needler Ministries rejects such philosophies that lead to pride, arrogance, and a haughty superiority; while covering up the heart (inside). Those who are most concerned with making an outward show struggle to share their true heart, confess faults, admit personal errors, and apologize when wrong; thus providing a facade where people are free to masquerade as the "perfect Christian." The amazing thing is that most Christians are not looking for each other to be "perfect" - rather they are looking for each other to be honest and real.

Phil Needler Ministries is all about sincerity, heart issues, and being real.

Phil Needler Ministries is not about pretending perfection has arrived. We can dress up the flesh all we want, but it will still be the same rotten, sinful flesh. We must work on the inner man by the renewing of our minds - by the Word of God.
